Recently I was interviewed by First Ascent about my research on South African lizards, and the outdoor gear I use to make sure it's successful! Having the right gear is such an important part of fieldwork, and an aspect of being a scientist that doesn't get chatted about too often. How do you choose the right hiking boots or field clothes?
